Message from the Editor-in-Chief
How time flies!
I can't believe that Industrial Electronics Magazine come into being three years ago. How time flies! Over 40 very good scientific and technical paper were published during that time. Those papers cover all fields of Industrial Electronics and they were published in five different categories: Main Future, Past&Present, From Mind to Market, My View, Industrial Forum. Some of them have very high citation index. Even other valuable information like Society New, Chapter News, Education New, Book News and My View help to integrate society. Therefore, I would like to thank Marco Liserre for his amazing effort as a Editor-in-Chief of IE Magazine during last three years and I wish him good luck in his future career. Marco raise requirements of IE Magazine very high. I have to meet a challenge.
I would like to welcome Juan Jose Rodriguez-Andina from University of Vigo as a new Associate Editor and Editorial Board member. He will be responsible for Society New in IE Magazine. Most of us remember wonderful IEEE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics in 2007 organized by Juan. Welcome on board even Fernando da Silva from Technical University of Lisbon, who will prepare together with Marian Kazmierkowski our Book News. Fernando is Associate Editor ofIEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics and his experience is very important. I encourage all readers to contribution in IE Magazine. You can submit scientific or technical papers by manuscript central http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/iem-ieee . Information to other columns can be send to IEM editorial office by e-mail to
