Become an IES Student Ambassador
It's with great pleasure that IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) announces the launch of IES Ambassador Program 2024 to Undergraduate and Graduate Students. The program is a gateway into the IES global community, offering mentorship, networking and support to the local community and student branch chapters.
As an ambassador, you'll connect with like-minded individuals, expand your network, and gain valuable leadership skills. Collaborate with other ambassadors, attend exclusive events, and make a difference in your community!
The program will focus mainly on:
- Engaging with the local Community: through hosting Info Sessions and/or Flyers/Posters to spread awareness about the IES benefits and programs. Reaching out to Colleges, Universities, IEEE IES Student Branch Chapters (SBC), IEEE, and local sections to build synergy among students, Young Professionals (YPs), and local sections to host events for professional development, networking, and technical lectures.
- Bridge to the Global Community: working hand in hand with the IES Membership Activity Committee on various global programs.
- Social Media Presence: Disseminate the IES specific information through different social media channels.
At the end of the program, the top performing ambassador will receive the IES best ambassador Certificate & 300 USD prize to be used for one of IES conference of his/her choosing.
